This Week on Fox News Sunday: (9/6/09)

Health Care Reform… take two.  President Obama attempts to repackage his top domestic priority by addressing a joint session of Congress, and a national television audience.  The American people let their Congressmen have it during the August Congressional recess town hall meetings, now members return to Washington less convinced legislation can be approved.  So, can the President make a successful health care reform pitch, and convince a prime time audience and members of Congress, that his vision for reform is the best course of action?  We’ll hit every angle when Chris Wallace discusses this important topic with an All-Star Panel.

    Segment 1 Guests:
Sen. Lamar Alexander, (R) Tennessee / Republican Conference Chairman
Gov. Howard Dean, Former Democratic National Committee Chairman
Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House (R) / Fox News Contributor
John Podesta, President and CEO, Center for American Progress

    Plus our panel:
Bill Kristol – Weekly Standard & Fox News
Mara Liasson – National Public Radio & Fox News
Stephen Hayes – Weekly Standard & Fox News
Juan Williams – National Public Radio & Fox News

And a Classic Power Player capturing history one snapshot at a time.

On Mike Wallace this morning Ron Williams said that we need to be in Afganistan to prevent another 9/11 attack---From what I recall the attack was launched on American soil!!!! We need to get our troops home and have them defend us on "ALL our BORDERS!!!

Chris you missed your chance. John Podesta, in response to your question about increased spending, stated that Obama "inherited a lousy economy headed to depression and huge deficits". George Bush also inherited a lousy economy and met it with tax cuts, not massive government spending, which strengthen the economy. This is always ignored in the liberal re-right of the Bush era. The American people do not trust the President or mainstream media. The only way WE THE PEOPLE can get true information is thru the internet or Fox news and the Obama team is working hard on cutting that off. Let’s look at what the democrats are really upset about let’s start with Van Jones, who started with a group formed by self-described “communist” and “rowdy black nationalist and he is proud of his communist beliefs. Mark Lloyd: (“Diversity” Czar) He outlines how the willing media can and should be used against government opposition in order to silence and then to end free speech. He uses media in order to affect “social change” via genocide. Robert Morse: (census us Czar) A U.S Censes “sell sheet” an advertisement used to recruit national partners, says partnerships with groups like ACORN “play an important role in making the 2010 census successful,” including help by recruiting census workers. The bureau is currently employing help from more than 250 national partners, including TARGET and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored people (NAACP), to assist in the hiring effort and the list goes on. The only media that had the courage to tell the truth about what was happening in Washington was FOX along with a true American Glenn Beck and you wonder why American people are so upset. Let’s look at the President and his stand on the CIA. The same people that tried to keep this country safe after 9/11 from the terrorist attack are now there being attacked by this administration. So lets be honest, democrats are not mad about the truth, there mad because the truth was told.

Governor Dean, in one short minute, spoke out of both sides of his mouth. On one side he said Mr Jones was a 'brilliant lawyer' and then on the other said, (talking about the letter Jones signed on the 911 issue), he signed because they told him it was about something entirely different. If a 'brilliant lawyer' does NOT 'read before he signs', he would NOT be MY lawyer, however, he would fit right in this administration and Congress because they do not read anything either!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one on your show ever speaks of the limited power of the federal government. The constitution tells congress what they have the power to do, it is not to tell the people what they can do. our rights are from God, not the government. As far as I know, the government has no jurisdiction over our health care.

Newt Gingrich is probably one of the most intelligent men in politics today but he let Howard Dean spin his convoluted truths again.Dean made his usual erroneous statement that the propsed Healthcare Bill did not contain rationing or death panels. This of course is his usual play on words. This bill is so incoherent and vague that the potential for interpretive abuse specifically page 85,line 7(specifications benefit levels),page 335 to 339,would increase rationing and denial of service 10 fold.

If Mr.Jones wants to see what an A- Hole looks like all he has to do is go to the white house and he and Obama looks in the mirror.

Chris your show today was disappointing. I noticed you didn't ask Podesta about Van Jones. Could it be that he has worked with Podesta and is just as much a radical? You let Dean off the hook with his inaccurate comments re Medicare...which is 70 trillion in debt..you call that successful!! Why is it that everyone is letting Obama off the hook except Beck & Hannity These radical Czars are in the White House advising him because he wants them there. He's one of them and thinks just like them

Watching Gingrich's ineptness at debating Howard Dean was maddening. I cannot believe he let him get by saying medicare is a success when it stands to bankrupt our country in short order. Further, I would like to see the press challenge the Left's assertion of "mis-information" by confronting them with the cited references the Right makes in HRB 3200 and force them to explain how their claims are wrong. Do your job!

Explain to me why the most cons.Sunday show on the air, did not ask Podesta (Head of the UBER liberal Cent for Amer Prog/Head of barry's transition team) how van jones ever got within 100 ft of the most powerful man in the world? What did you, Valerie Jarrett and barry KNOW and WHEN did you know it? When will this admin be held to the same standards..scratch that-be held to ANY standards? Sorry FNS-you let an incredible opportunity slip away. I expect this from MTPress-not you.

Did Michael Steele say Obama is going to "alliterate" his health care plan? Is Obama open to overt opining on Obamacare or only obfuscating on the option? Hahaha. I'll alliterate him, right on the bee-hind! Crazy! www.mygoodbabushka.etsy.com

On the discussion about the Presidents speech to schoolkids. Mara Liasson missed the point about the reason so many people objected. There is great mistrust about the motives of this administration. The democratic party, and specifically the teachers unions, have a history of radical indoctrination in the classrooms. This is the main reason many people are very concerned about the "lessons" that the Dept. of Education have distributed.

I am so tired of Juan saying that American people trust President Obama. Some American's trust President Obama, however more American's are concerned about the government spending more money then we have, and taking over the private market. I do not trust President Obama and worse I will not give him the benefit of a doubt any longer. When you hire people like Van Jones who say the radical things he has said; then you choose to allow him in my White House, sorry! I am not a fool.

The BHO engrandizement in the speech curriculum was ignored until Bill and Stephen spoke up. That's what we don't like. It conjures images of the brown-shirt school children of a socialist leader from the last century. That is the problem: These initiatives all result in more and bigger government (which is bankrupting the country), and less freedom and choice. Allow the insurance companies to sell whatever policy a customer wants to buy. Screw the trial lawyers (for a change)! DO Loser Pays

Would somebody give Howard Dean a massage or a valium or something? The man was one single knot of tension. His entire body was screaming that he was terrified. What's going on? No one in the studio is going to physically attack him. Maybe he felt guilty about the BS he was handing out, and was afraid that God is going to get him for that.

I'd like anyone who is featured on Fox News including the Panel to be required to get out of Washington to actually SEE what Americans really think by attending tea parties. To be on TV and talk without understanding the fury of the public makes them look stupid and adds to the fire. The Democrats are in denial and have already lost the debate.

I am really growing weary of those people who arrogantly assume that because a person graduates from Yale or some other Ivy League institution they are brilliant. Some of the most ignorant people I have heard speak are graduates of these schools.

This is the first time I had to mute the sound during your programr due to misinformation. Howard Dean was off the wall, as usual but the liberal panel members were no better. Ms Liasson said that everything about Obama is a big deal now because of "politics" and the "Internet," without saying a word about the most liberal administration in US history, out of control spending, loss of trust because change and transparency somehow never materialized.
