This week on Fox News Sunday: (10/4/09)

Foreign Policy continues to dominate the discussion in Washington, as the US and five other world powers hold talks in Geneva with Iran over that country’s contentious nuclear program.  After the much anticipated meeting, Iran agreed to let IAEA inspectors into their newly discovered secret nuclear facility.  President Obama hailed the meeting by saying that Iran is on a path to better relations with the US.  He also cautioned that “hard work lies ahead”.  Here at home, member’s of the President’s Cabinet and senior Administration officials gathered in the White House to begin debate over the US’s future involvement in Afghanistan.  Now that General McChrystal’s Afghanistan report has been delivered, President Obama embarks on his most important foreign policy decision to date.

This week “Fox News Sunday” hosts some of the Senate’s foremost thinkers on US Foreign Policy.

Segment 1:  Sen. Evan Bayh, (D) Indiana / Armed Services Committee
Sen. Lindsey Graham, (R) South Carolina / Armed Services Committee
Sen. Bob Casey, (D) Pennsylvania / Foreign Relations Committee
Sen. Saxby Chambliss, (R) Georgia / Armed Services Committee

    Plus our Sunday Panel:
Brit Hume –Fox News Senior Political Analyst
Mara Liasson – National Public Radio & Fox News
Bill Kristol – Weekly Standard & Fox News
Juan Williams – National Public Radio & Fox News

I believe Fox News is the best,Fox allows its reporters to remove their pointed hoods and sheets before they go on the air, so the country know who they are.

Obama suffers from The Audacity of Hope to a Fault our U.S. Leader must face the reality of world situations as currently exists. Asking the Olympics commit to Chicago was acceptable; the problem was the context in which Obama laid down the proposal! Naive is the only word I can think of and the lack of grasp of reality is evident foreign and domestic policy, he has good advisors,he has listened to political advisors

Henry Ford was a "Free Mason" maybe he and his descendants believe in freedom of thought, freedom of intelligence and learning, and a sort of independence from the proprietary overbearing rule our US GOV is dolling out in the name of prosperity. Huh Mugsy?

This morning, the Roundtable repeated the claim that "Ford's vastly better quarterly sales figures are the result of "Consumers REWARDING Ford for not taking bailout money." While this may play a part, I'm always suspicious when "anti-government fervor" is credited with any mass movement. Ford's better numbers are more likely due to the perception they will actually be around ten years from now than for their rejection of bailout money. That's what allowed them to turn it down in the 1st place.

Why is it no one is speaking about the fact that Obama sent 20,000 troops to Afganistan earlier this year and now is wringing his hands over what to do now?

Just as liberal commentators never said a word about the shameful gleefulness and literal ROOTING for everything about Bush's presidency including the WAR to fail - yep - Brit said nothing about the Olympics. Could it be this is because HALF OF CHICAGO didn't want the Olympics but mostly the Daley Obama buddies who stood to gain buckets of money from the Olympics? Hmmmm, Hmmm, Hmmm

To make a decision as to whether we pull out of Afgahistan or add more troops, this President would do well to pay attention the knowledge and experience of General McChrystal. Think of the safety of those fighting to keep us safe, and not your ridiculous politics, Obama!

That news-maker and all around charmer,Achmed, has hit another home run telling the world that Dear Leader was wrong. Of course he was and is. Production of high grade, PEACEFUL uranium and plutonium can, and any socialist pundent will back this, only be used for peace. Achmed and his horde will shortly light the Persian skies with peaceful, atomic light and cook their camel meat in their atomic powered microwaves. Are you kidding? Nothing but peace here - and the sheep grazed on!
