Tanya Snyder is the wife of Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder. These days she's pushing her own cause as the face of the NFL's campaign "A Crucial Catch" to support the fight against breast cancer, making her our Power Player of the Week.
The NFL is trying to raise awareness by passing out information at stadiums and raising money. And if you haven't noticed the players are also wearing pink on the field.

Though I feel for Mrs. Snyder and commend her on her battle against breast cancer, I do feel angered that only breast cancer is getting so much publicity. My Mother passed away this past February from a five year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Where are all the teal ribbons, where are all the marches, marathons to fight the disease the slowly and painfully took my Mother. I have not heard of Ovarain Cancer awareness month? There is more than one cancer out there lets hear about them.
