The Palin advocates are always in conflict with those that think she is not qualified for ANYTHING. Although there are numerous examples, I give you two. Please read verbatim her resignation speech when she quit being the governor of Alaska. Secondly, get a transcript of her VP debate with Joe Biden. If my high school debate mentor would have been grading her performance, he would have been forced to give her an "F". A debater cannot ignore the questions, and get a passing grade.

My favorite expression of former Vice President Cheney is that since 9-11, under the Bush-Cheney administration, there has never been an attack on U.S. soil. Does it matter where Americans die? Thank you Mr. Cheney for that great barricade you and President Bush erected, you know, the one with nearly 5000 dead soldiers, and the one with thirty thousand some wounded. Great plan! Now, when your daughter becomes President, I suspect that many more dead and wounded can be thrown into that barricade!

I am repeating this comment because it seems everyone at Fox is anti the current administration. Well, so am I. But why does Liz Cheney wear an American Flag on her lapel? She represents ONLY the views of her father. If Dick Cheney is President, we are at war ad infinitum. The Cheney's will always sleep well at night. But thousands of Americans because of U.S. hawkish practices, never will. ?And many -because of the likes of the Cheney's--will be asleep--FOREVER!

Bill Kristol: You mentioned several Presidents with Asian backrounds. You forgot that Eisenhower lived in the Phillipines from 1935 to 1939. Also during WW 2 I think Nixon was in the Pacific along with LBJ. Ford maybe?

I don't know if I have missed several of the programs previously, but the addition (?) of Liz Cheney is a marked improvement on the Panel. Now drop either Mara or Juan as we don't need two representing NPR's point of view and it will still be balanced!

THE RIGHT IS THEIR OWN WORST ENEMY.IF SHE WINS I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THE RETARDED CHILDREN.THE RIGHT IS TRULY DESPARATE,BUT .

Liz Chaney didn't mince words and was so knowledgable. I hope she returns. Finally someone backs up what she says with the lessons of history.

Bill Krystol & Liz Cheney are afraid the Bush Administration will get charge with mishandling or some connection with 9/11. If they were charge in other countries they would not get their just due sentences.

in regard to questioning palins record for a presidential run,i was just wondering what pres. obamas record was? and i was wondering why we can call timothy mc veigh a domestic terrorist but not nidal hasan?

Love Liz Cheney on the panel. She was absolutely right, these are enemy combatants and should be treated as such. What kind of kool-aid does Juan like best?

I'm going to break with all the Republican koolaid drinkers and say that Liz Cheney was not a great addition to the panel. There was more free for all because of her than I've seen on any other week. I am a huge Sarah Palin fan, but Liz's comment that not considering Palin a good candidate for 2012 would be sexist, was blatantly sexist itself. Being nominated for VP has more to do with politics than it does presidential qualifications. Liz Cheney would make Sarah Palin lose.

The left is using the excuse that Bush left the gang of five and others to sit in a cell instead of trying them so now Holder is seeing that they finally get their trial. For the sake of argument lets say that is true. Why did that stop THIS administration from seeing that military tribunals went forward immediately to try these prisoners of war?? Why does it have to be in civilian court?? It is all political IMO, nothing more.

Liz Cheney is fantastic. I like her command of the facts and her ability to articulate a voice of reason. If she ever runs for office, she's got my support. I loved her comment after Obama went to Dover to honor the fallen soldiers. She said if you want to honor the fallen "win the war"!!!!

Terrorist trial in civil court? Only 5? Now the other terrorists can appeal for the same constitutional right, and then how do you justify denying? Eric Holder has backed us into circus trials for years, delighting in putting the government on trial [oh, just the Bush administration, that is.] When this turns out badly, O will say, “That was Eric’s. And do we only try those in civil courts where Eric Holder is sure we can get a conviction? Sounds like Wild West justice: “Give
