The staff of Fox News Sunday just wrapped up the Wednesday editorial meeting where we discussed the best guests for a segment on health care reform—this topic seems to be the big issue as the week progresses. Debate over a bill most likely will be on the Senate floor this week as Democratic leaders continue to woo party moderates, Sen. Ben Nelson (NE), Sen. Mary Landrieu (LA) and Sen. Blanche Lincoln (AR). We'll talk to leaders on Capitol Hill about the debate and the prospects for a bill by the end of the year.
Also--another potential topic we're thinking about for Sunday is breast cancer screening. The independent panel, the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force this week recommended against routine mammograms for women younger than 50. The findings have sparked sharp debate among women, cancer survivors and doctors.
Javier, what's crazy is the same people who backed GWB are cheer-leading for Palin. I guess they found another flunky this time with a pretty face instead of a famous name to pull the puppet strings. This woman can't be honest about anything. From why she left the governorship to the Katie Interview. She panicked when that question was asked and was not annoyed. Anyone want to do an over and under on how many times Palin say the words "Reagan" and "dithering" on her interview with Bill "The Sexual Phone Deviant" O"reilly tomorrow? I say at least 6 times. Of course Palin uses the word "dithering" all the time in her intellectual quarters in Alaska. I'm sure she was not given any of the questions ahead of time or just plain set ups. I'm just wondering if Palin will answer the questions before O'molester get's the question out like Rush did with Chris.
Would you ask any guests, What is the Constitutional power which allows the Federal government to be functioning in health care? I might suggest mentioning the 9th and the 10th.
